Zynga’s new Los Angeles area studio is looking for Freelance 2D Artists to work with us on current and future web-based social game projects.

We are committed to developing high quality casual and multi-player games! Come work with us … we’re having a ball!

Freelance Artists will be working with our studio’s Art Director, creating final in-game vector-based art assets which drive the visual identity and user interface of the game. Assignments may include 2D character/prop/environment art, user interface elements, flash animation, icons, advertising, web ready art, etc. We prefer to work with local artists in the greater Los Angeles area who can at times work on site at our new Culver City studio. However, we will definitely consider working entirely remotely with more experienced vector graphic artists and animators.

Required Skills:

• Excellent Flash and/or Adobe Illustrator skills in cartoon art, illustration, graphic art, etc.

• Ability to communicate visually, and to identify and define visual design issues and solutions

• Excellent design skills, including the effective use of color, form, lighting and composition

• Experience in Flash creating optimized movies, buttons, and animation a big plus.
