As you read above, we’re looking for a dedicated graphic designer who will help speed up our internal processes by allowing each employee to singularly focus on the skills they best possess. The videos we produce are neither corporate glossy nor home camcorder ghetto but instead reside in a niche area of a personal yet well-lit and structured feel. Our websites embody that same look and feel, and the person selected for this position should view themselves as working on controlled-reality entertainment, not “porn.” There is nothing trashy or embarrassing about what we do, and to be selected for this position, you must similiarly believe as much.

As for this position in particular, after we determine your portfolio meets our requirements, step one in our hiring process is to complete a skills test. For the graphic designer position, it is to create a one page flier based upon the sketch and instructions we provide you. Upon successful completion of that, you’ll be asked to schedule a brief in-person interview.

The candidate ultimately selected for this position will work full time and be salary-based in our Las Vegas office. There, he or she will be required to create the look and feel of new ventures as well as mimic the style already present in future expansions of current projects. Experience in both the online arena as well as with print is mandatory. A basic working knowledge of HTML and Dreamweaver is required and exemplary skills with Photoshop and Fireworks are a must.

In short, if selected, part of your responsibilities will be to take each site update from edited video stage to finish: updating web pages via Dreamweaver and a bit of hard coding and macros; creating, selecting, and changing graphics via Fireworks and Photoshop; and uploading the modified site. In addition, you’ll be responsible for the creation of online and print advertising, box covers, etceteras. Basically, if it’s visual and doesn’t move (i.e. video), it falls under this position.

In almost all technical areas, a protocol has been established, but you must be able to think on your feet. We’re looking for someone to be part of the team, who can bring something to the table but who also realizes working with others is required in a multi-disciplinary company such as this. To be successful, you must further be comfortable working with both straight and gay adult material.

We require at least three year’s hands-on design experience, and only candidates submitting portfolios of prior work will be considered. Compensation will be commensurate with expertise and experience, but this is at least a $40,000+/year position.
