The Role:
<br>

As a Graphic Design intern at Seven Bar you will have the opportunity to take full creative control on the graphic design needs of the foundation. You will immediately be contributing to real client assignments which will draw on your creativity as well as your ability to produce innovative design solutions and present results. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall industry expertise while you benefit from more structured learning interventions.

Performance Objectives:

• Contribute to well-defined assignments under close art direction from foundation directors
<br>
• Work on projects to develop creative design solutions (e.g., making text edits, invitations, organizational charts, designing components of power point presentations)
<br>
• Effectively and efficiently contribute to numerous simultaneous projects from concept through final production artwork in a fast-paced environment
<br>
• Deliver on projects to meet expectations
<br>
• Partner with brand development colleagues to develop solutions
<br>
• Work collaboratively as a member of the Seven Bar Foundation team
<br>
• Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively with co-workers
<br>

The Requirements:
<br>
• Graphic Design Student specializing in information systems
<br>
• Understanding and knowledge of both print and digital media design
<br>
• High proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite software – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
<br>
• Ability to present concepts and support rationale behind given design ideas and solutions
<br>
• Strong consultative, creative and problem solving skills
<br>
• Ability to balance multiple priorities with acute attention to detail
<br>
• Strong service orientation with a commitment to producing high quality results within strict deadlines
<br>
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
<br>
• Ability to respond to all communications effectively and in a timely manner

It is the brand for microfinance with its pink bars in the logo representing a “ladder” – an exit strategy out of poverty for women. Seven Bar Foundation’s philanthropic brand fuels its microfinance fund on a consistent basis. Lingerie Miami, New York, Los Angeles and 15 other cities serve as a platform for the Seven Bar Foundation brand to reach a critical mass of consciousness. These top couture and luxury lingerie shows allow the brand to provide consistent revenue streams through fashion shows, co-branded products, microfinance investment and video streaming technology.

Besides providing consistent funding to microfinance, the Foundation’s overlying goal is to create a blueprint for other non-profits to shift away from the traditional, dependent fundraising model, to a self-sustainable model. This model was developed by Renata Mutis Black and is being spearheaded by Renata and Kim Hoedeman.

Undergraduate Student Internship Program

Overview: The Seven Bar Foundation is looking for a pro-active, enthusiastic, self-motivated undergraduate student in business, marketing, fashion or communications who would like to work alongside the Seven bar Foundation’s partners. The candidate must have a passion for microfinance and fashion. The candidate will experience the development of a philanthropic brand and deal with major CEO’s in the industry. He/she will learn from the pioneers in the industry in the future of business – profits with purpose. This opportunity will allow the student to take part of a game changing organization. He/she will strive to reach their maximum potential to fulfill the needs of the position by anticipation the partners’ needs.

Job Description: The right candidate will assist the director in overseeing the execution of Lingerie New York, Oct 21st, and all its subprojects. Responsibilities are: manage projects using a project management system, assist in the creation of social media campaigns to expand the Foundation’s demographic sector, present analytical recommendations based on marketing research, set appointments tracking all emails and follow-ups, excellent email business writing skills for potential sponsors, take minutes during conference calls, supervise brand relationships of national cause-marketing with sponsors like Fusion Beauty/Sephora, and Antoine Amrani Chocolates, assist is procuring items and execution of Auction.
