Our Silent Canvas, a non-profit multi-media arts collective is seeking to include artists from all creative perspectives and different communities into our upcoming show’s gallery exhibit. You may or may not submit art pieces that don’t correlate with our show’s current theme, “Echo the Elements” (Please read the quote bellow to find out about theme).

OSC is organizing its second multimedia concert on April 29th entitled “Echo the Elements” in Chelsea, Manhattan. The show will feature brand new works by four diverse contemporary composers, alongside a set/installation design by a team of visual artists and a Gallery Exhibit.
Our Silent Canvas has extended the submission deadline to April 22nd for visual artists who wish to be considered for inclusion in our show’s gallery exhibit on April 29th.
A committee of jurors from the Our Silent Canvas Artists Team will select artists based on high standards of creativity, quality and professionalism. We are accepting entries for only mediums including drawings and paintings for this show.
All accepted artists will be emailed on April 22nd, 2011 and announced on our website and program.
Interested artists should submit to our email:
1. Minimum one (1) and a maximum of two (2) samples of a body of work.
• File Type for photos: JPEG files ONLY.
Note: All files must be compressed to a zip.file and emailed us
All digital files should be Mac compatible and should be saved as high quality JPEG’s sized at 300 dpi and at 1200 pixels in length.
• Name each file with your first and last name, and the title of the artwork.
Example: “JaneDoe_Untitled1.jpg, JaneDoe_Untitled2.jpg.”
• Label email with the subject: OSC art submission.
Message must include name, phone number, website and size of artwork.
2. Must attach to email your resume/CV.
3. If selected the entry fee will be $15 for submitting one image. Second additional image incur a fee of $5. (i.e. 2 artworks = $20)
Payment must be in by April 27th by cash or checks made out to Our Silent Canvas.

• We receive lots of requests so unfortunately not all can be considered.
All works are eligible to be on sale if the artist requests it.
• Files and other requested details must be sent in the same email.
• All payments to Our Silent Canvas go back into helping pay for equipments, the gallery space, and in prolonging opportunities for other artists and musicians to express and share their art.
• Artwork will be hung in Salon style.
