High Fashion Label seeking Multiple Positions (Los Angeles)

Couture fashion label seeking various positions (Interns in all departments, Seamstresses, Reps, etc). We request that all applicants commit a minimum of 15 hours per week.

We are seeking people who want to grow with our company. Most positions entail some pay during the first 3 months- also incentives, bonuses and potential to grow within the company. We are growing quickly and looking for those who want to prove themselves and their ability to help make us successful… after three months those that prove themselves an essential part of the team will be offered stock in the company and a long term paid employment.

ASSISTANT DESIGNER

Excellent sketching

Design experience a must

Garment construction experience, evening wear preffered.

Excellent pattern making a must

Assist in the execution of our Look Book

Knowledge of dye processes and procedures preferred.

Must have reliable transportation

Preference to those with their own machinery who are self motivated.

SEAMSTRESS – paid per piece or hourly

Knowledge of high end garment construction

Must be able to work with delicate textiles

Ability to work different types of machines

Must have at least 2 years experience working with women’s high fashion

Reliable transportation

DESIGN INTERNS:

Apparel trend research

Social networking skills

Style blog, polyvore, etc followers preffered

Studying at least one of the following: fashion design, merchandising, marketing, productionMust have reliable transportation

Will work with head and assistant designer creating line sheets, tech packs, swatches, etc.

ONLINE BOUTIQUE INTERNS

Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop

Can help create marketing images/banners/campaigns

Strong written skills

Willing to meet deadlines

Photography skills helpful

Must have reliable transportation

MARKETING AND PR INTERNS

Proficient in Word and Excel

Strong writing skills

Great communication skills

Fashion blogging experience preferred

Great marketing concepts

Must have reliable transportation

SOCIAL NETWORK/MEDIA INTERNS

Assist with creating relevant, engaging content that aligns with the brand as well as resonates with brand target demographic.

Develop a comprehensive editorial calendar that identifies resources and their areas of coverage.

Assist in researching trends for blog posts

Assist in brainstorming ideas for content

Identify and recommend strategic partnership opportunities and promotional programming through social media

Assist in monitoring the social web

Researching blogs that align with the brand, messaging and marketing pillars

Research other competitive and/or non-competing brands’ (within industry/category) social media activities

Recommend overall strategy and tactic for co-branded partnerships and promotions

Present outcome of research, programming recommendation and marketing impact

SALES REPS AND INTERNS

Communicating with strategic partners, including showrooms, staff, stylists and editors in a professional manner.

Computer savvy with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel experience preferred.

Assist in coordination of sample sales, special events, tradeshows and projects.

Maintaining press kit and image database

Responsible for launching our brand in various cities, entails phoning and marketing to boutiques with line sheets, look books and photos. Involves heavy phone work.

FASHION / ADMINISTRATIVE / BUSINESS INTERN:

Preference to those who are familiar with MS office and Quickbooks

Strong sense of customer service

Ability to act as a liason between CEO/lead designer and staff

Assisting with styling for photo shoots

Order processing of online retail store

Provide customers with product information

Resolving customers’ queries, requests and complaints

Uploading photos online and aiding with website maintenance

Inventory maintenance

Data Entry

Packing/shipping orders

Attend fashion events and tradeshows 2 times a year.

Strong working knowledge of Excel to help prepare reports needed for potential investors, bookkeeper, etc

Must have reliable transportation

ECOMMERCE SALES INTERNS

The ideal candidates are working on a degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, business management, public relations or a related field. Proficiency in Ecommerce and new media technology skills is a must.

Graphic design abilities preferred

Basic web design and updating and maintaining websites

Creating description for styles

Understanding and know how to use SEO, or willingness to learn.

Listing products and announcing sales online on various sales channels like ebay, facebook, craigslist, etc.

Customer service

PHOTOGRAPHY INTERNS

Upper division student photographers and Photoshop experts. We will be photographing our styles for our website. Must have camera, lens, lighting, etc..

If you have experience woman’s garments or product and an extensive knowledge of Photoshop, we would love to work with you.

FASHION MODELS

agency represented, 5’9+, size 2-4, must have a portfolio and be pursuing a career in modeling seriously. To be the “face” of our brand. First few shoots will be TFP, after three months (second season) you will be paid a standard day rate.
