Established Los Angeles based custom high end residential furniture design and manufacturing company is looking for a very special individual who is interested in developing a career in the Interior Design/Residential Custom Furniture business.
Working out of a showroom in West Hollywood as Executive Assistant to the owners of this small business this individual will be exposed to all aspects of the design, manufacturing, national sales and distribution of high end residential furniture.
Typical duties will involve working with the company’s owners and staff in the following areas.
Showroom management duties including product arrangement and presentation, meeting and assisting showroom visitors,
Sales Support – working with our nationwide showroom and sales representative network on sales development, answering and responding to sales calls from customers, quoting custom orders, helping with sales and marketing programs, Sales Analysis, commission reports
Customer Service and order proccessing including dealing with customer service calls, order entry, releasing and scheduling of production orders with our factory, coordinating production and customer approvals of custom product drawings and special finishes, invoicing of completed orders and working with the factory on customers shipments. Principal interface between the customer and our factory in support of production and delivery of orders and customer problem resolution.
Furniture and Interior Design support – working with our design department on both interior design projects and furniture design and development.
General office duties including filing, simple bookeeping, data entry, mail, e mail,
This is a full time job, hours are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday through Friday.
