REPRESENTATIVE:
You will be responsible for signing up art galleries and antique dealers to list works of art on the web site. This effort will be through your existing network, but will also include a sales and marketing effort to make dealers and galleries aware of the offering.

ROLE DETAILS:

Consultative Sales and Marketing (70%-80% of time)– This will be the vast majority of the responsibilities. It includes attending art fairs to make contacts and give people awareness of the online venue, as well as making contact with all of the individual dealers in the city. It will also include negotiating contracts with the vendors / dealers who list their items on the website.

Organizing data and information for listings (10%-20% of time) — This includes getting contracts for vendors as well as possibly organizing photography or managing local photographers who can shoot items. Training and Maintenance (5%-10% of time) — This will include training vendors/dealers on how to use the web site and how to update their item descriptions and photos.
